No Warranty

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, 601 Labs expressly disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to:

• ▸Merchantability — we make no guarantee that the Service meets any particular standard of quality or fitness.
• ▸Fitness for a particular purpose — the Service may not suit every use case you have in mind.
• ▸Uninterrupted or error-free operation — puzzles, leaderboards, and scores may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, outages, or circumstances beyond our control.
• ▸Accuracy of scores or leaderboard data — while we take reasonable steps to prevent cheating and data loss, we cannot guarantee the absolute accuracy or permanence of any score, streak, or rank.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time without notice or liability.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, 601 Labs and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of — or inability to use — the Service, including but not limited to:

• ▸Loss of scores, streaks, leaderboard rankings, or account data.
• ▸Loss of or damage to a device, browser data, or local storage caused by use of the Service.
• ▸Any unauthorised access to your account arising from loss or disclosure of your recovery code.
• ▸Service interruptions, downtime, or data loss caused by third-party providers.

In jurisdictions that do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of liability for consequential or incidental damages, our liability is limited to the greatest extent permitted by law. Because Shikaku Daily is offered free of charge, our aggregate liability to you shall not exceed USD $10.

Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, branding, and puzzle generation logic that make up Shikaku Daily are owned by or licensed to 601 Labs and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

• ▸You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works of the Service or any part of it without our prior written consent.
• ▸You may not use our name, logo, or branding in any way that implies endorsement or affiliation without permission.
• ▸Puzzle concept. The Shikaku puzzle format was created by Nikoli Co., Ltd. Our implementation — including the daily seeding, scoring system, trophy system, and leaderboard — is original work by 601 Labs and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Nikoli.
• ▸Personal use. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the Service for your own personal, non-commercial enjoyment.

User Conduct

By using Shikaku Daily you agree to behave in a way that is fair to other players and does not harm the Service. You must not:

• ▸Cheat or manipulate scores. This includes using automated tools, bots, scripts, or modified clients to submit scores, bypass time limits, or otherwise gain an unfair advantage on the leaderboard.
• ▸Impersonate others. Do not choose a nickname that impersonates another person, brand, or public figure in a misleading or harmful way.
• ▸Use offensive or harmful nicknames. Nicknames must not contain hate speech, slurs, threats, or content that is obscene, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable. We reserve the right to remove any nickname at our discretion without notice.
• ▸Abuse or attack the Service.Do not attempt to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of our systems, overload our infrastructure (DoS/DDoS), or interfere with other users' access.
• ▸Scrape or harvest data. Automated collection of leaderboard data, puzzle content, or any other content from the Service without our written permission is prohibited.

We reserve the right to remove scores, reset rankings, or block access for any user who violates these rules, at our sole discretion and without prior notice.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which 601 Labs is registered, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of the Service after any change constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms. If a change is material, we will make reasonable efforts to notify users.
